Western Republic

Before having discovered a distant planet (named Roxwell, but later renamed to Galaga), the United States had a second civil war. With growing decadence, corruption, and crime put on by the Democratic East, the more conservative Republican West split from the union, fought a war, and won. The West then called itself the Western Republic, and its capitol city is Denver, Colorado.
